Insurance
I participate with (am an “in-network provider” for) Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare. Before scheduling an appointment, please call your health insurance company to confirm that your plan covers outpatient mental health services with a licensed psychologist. Your insurance company carrier can inform you about: your deductible (if applicable) and co-payments or co-insurance you are responsible for. At the time of service, please be prepared to pay any deductible or co-payment amounts required by your health plan.
If I am not on your insurance company’s panel (such as Blue Care Network, Priority Health, etc.), you may choose to see me as an “out of network provider.” In this case, you pay the full fee at the time of service. I will submit a courtesy claim for you (or can provide you with a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company). If your plan provides out-of-network coverage, they will reimburse you directly. Call your health insurance company customer service to learn if you have out of network coverage for mental health services.
